The Totally Unknown Writers Festival 2005: A Celebration of Arnie

On Monday, October 24, 2005, The Thirteenth Annual Totally Unknown Writers Festival celebrated Arnie Achtman, who we lost in March 2005.

This special celebrations was held at The Mod Club, instead of our usual venue, The Rivoli, which holds only 200–uncomfortably. The Mod Club, situated six blocks west of Bathurst on College Street, brought us together near Arnie's home, and the home of Life Rattle.

Arnie's presence at Life Rattle is very much missed.

The festival featured selections of stories written for Arnie, a recording Arnie reading Graduate School, and a slide show. The stories read at the festival, plus several more, written for Arnie, and by Arnie are published in:
