Case Reports collects six non-fiction short stories and five science-based research articles—cases, as medicine addresses everything—I experienced and wrote on as a science researcher/writer.
Science has been made this holy, pure truth. It’s sacred, exclusive, and scary. In this collection, I unburden myself. I expose my stories. I share what clinicians, my academic peers, my research supervisors said of me.
I include my research articles. I show how real science is: lab meetings, research interviews, and publication details contain raw feeling and cold, hard science. Science training is an all human experience: friendly, subjective, scary, objective.
