Contingent has two meanings. Contingent can mean unpredictable, accidental, or subject to chance. In philosophy, contingent means possible. Every moment, every memory, every choice in your life is contingent upon this possible world, the world we live in.

This book explores some of the colours I’ve experienced in this possible world. Each colour represents a saturated theme in my life. Whether it be the commitment yellow has shown me or the bravery from blue, these colours are contingent to my world. And in my world, each contingent colour has painted another layer. Another part of me.
