tonight's Show

On Life Rattle No. 1331, your monthly Classic show, the 2015 Valentine edition features two stories of unrequited love, by long time contributor Adam Giles.

Adam Giles has been a frequent contributor to Life Rattle since he first appeared on the program in June of 2001. In 2006, he took on the role of occasional producer when this show was aired on Ryerson’s radio station, CKLN.

Giles was born the older of two boys in 1978, in Mississauga where he grew up. He completed five years of study at University of Toronto at Mississauga, where he served as editor-in-chief for the campus newspaper. He went on to earn a post-graduate diploma in Journalism and New Media. Giles has written for the web, for several print publications, for CTV Newsnet and read one of the stories you will hear tonight, titled “Christine”, on CBC Radio One.

Tonight Giles brings us a couple anti-Valentine themed stories. What one of our founders, Arnie Achtman called a “mini heartbreak series.”

If you don’t want drippy, predictable, lovey-dovey crap for Valentine’s day…then listen in to hear the train wreck of one young man’s dreams of romance.
